95/100, 5 stars The Real Review
Indigo purple colour with a violet rim. Perfumed bouquet of balsamic flowers and sweet spices. Big and bold, rich in taste, tannin and alcohol. Flavours of wild plums, bay leaf and vanilla, generous tannin and sleek mouthfeel, with a finish that persists. To 2032
From Australia's most distinguished vineyards and winemakers.
The Apollonian theory of Greek mythology entwines two seemingly opposite philosophical elements of the gods and brothers Apollo and Dionysus to create a complete and complex entity. Order and chaos, purity and excess, harmony and passion. Entwined by nature they are at their best when together. The vineyard, the winemaker, the vintage and the moment create the experience.
The Cabernet Sauvignon is from a 40 year old vineyard in the Blewitt Springs sub-region of McLaren Vale. The ancient soils and elevation of the vineyard offer the perfect conditions for growing high quality Cabernet Sauvignon in small crops.
