5 Stars, 94/100 - Sam Kim
"Elegant and stylish, the inviting bouquet shows white flesh stone fruit, lemon peel, apple and vanilla characters with hints of cashew and brioche notes. It is concentrated and focused on the palate, delivering gorgeous weight and mouthfeel, backed by bright acidity. Restrained and persistent, this is promising to evolve gracefully. At its best: 2020 to 2028." Sam Kim, Wine Judge
Margaret River wines are heavily influenced by the roaring forties, trade winds which keep the temperature consistent and the vines healthy and fruit and disease free. Gneissic Rock is the prominent subsoil in the region our vineyards are planted, which gives the wine it's structure and elegance.
Margaret River is one of the most geographically isolated wine regions in the world, established on the research of two scientists, Professor Harry Olmo and Dr John Gladstones in the 1960s. The area has a high winter rainfall, a dry, warm summer and few instances of frosts and hail. Our vines are biodynamically grown in unique soils of grey loam on a subsoil of clay, granite and gneissic rock.
