At EPIC NEGOCIANTS, we are passionate about protecting the environment for future generations to come, and indeed to ensure that high quality food can continue to be produced such as the grapes grown in our pristine vineyards in South Australia. 

To further this cause, we have partnered with The Ocean Cleanup, by committing to providing 5% of our profits to their great cause. The Ocean Cleanup is the largest clean up project in history, enabled by the advanced technologies developed by The Ocean Cleanup to rid the world’s oceans of plastic.

Whilst cleanup using conventional methods - vessels and nets - would take thousands of years and tens of billions of dollars to complete, The Ocean Cleanup have designed a passive system  that could theoretically remove about half the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 10 years. Whilst the project is far from simple,  by carefully scaling up and working with world-renown offshore companies (such as SBM Offshore, Heerema and Boskalis) and institutes (including IMARES, Deltares and MARIN), The Ocean Cleanup believe initiating the cleanup by 2020 is achievable.
